Creating Your First Exam
Build your first assessment using the exam builder. Learn how to add questions, configure settings, and use AI to generate content.

Follow these steps to complete this tutorial.
Access the Exam Builder
From your dashboard, click "Builder" or navigate to the Available Certifications section and select the certification you want to create an exam for. Click on the "Create New Exam" button.
Choose Creation Method
Select how you want to create your exam: "Start from scratch" to manually build your exam question by question, or "Create with AI" to automatically generate questions. If using AI, you'll need to specify the number of questions to generate.
Configure Exam Details
Enter the exam name and description. The certification type is pre-selected based on the certification you chose. Set the passing percentage (minimum score to pass), difficulty level (1-5 stars), and toggle "Make Exam Public" if you want external users to access it. Add Questions
Click "Add Question" and the question builder will automatically open. Choose from different question types: Single Choice, Multiple Choice, True/False, Matching, or Fill in the Blank. For each question, you can set the difficulty level and add an explanation that will be shown to users after they answer.
Publish Your Exam
Once you've finished adding all your questions, click "Publish" to make the exam available to end users. Published exams can be taken by assigned users or accessed via public link if you enabled "Make Exam Public".
