Subscription Renewal and Payments

Understand how subscription renewals work, when you're charged, and what happens if payment fails.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to complete this tutorial.

Renewal Schedule

Monthly subscriptions renew on the same day each month. Annual subscriptions renew once per year on your anniversary date with a 20% discount.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel. You'll receive a reminder email 3 days before renewal to notify you of the upcoming charge.

Payment Processing

Your default payment method is automatically charged on the renewal date. You keep full access during the retry period if payment fails.

Failed Payment Retry

If payment fails, we retry in 3 days and notify you via email. Update your payment method in Settings > Billing > Manage Billing to avoid interruption.

Account Downgrade

After 7 days of failed payment retries, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan. Update your payment method to restore your subscription.
